Histerical Blindness

Sepia Effect of my living room; blinds and wind-chime. I like the light coming in the vertical stripes of the blind. And the wind chime. One of those insignificant details that adds to the drama.

I got it out of my head at last,
Unplugged; Switched it shut
Voices, those voices
Listened to them at last.

And then Repose, bliss of restitute
That comes from being one
With my own self. In a cocoon
Of silk; The caterpillar gone.

Well, I'll be damned
If I give in.
To those temptations of phantasmagoric shade,
Mapping the line of ECG straight,
Damn those quixotic intent.

Flirting with silk threads of sanity
Bid farewell to my fair-weather friend.
A renewed life,
With a new name
And the Butterfly flies again. - Me
