Wooden Butterfly Clipped

A fallen tree trunk at the trail Devil's Marbelyard which looks like a wood carved butterfly to me. What say?

Yesterday, while scourging through the past,
I thought I found a treasure chest,
Lock, stock and barrel,
I forced it open and stood aghast,
There was just a few rusty bones
And a creaking skull.
Then, as if tied to a catapult,
I was thrown inside the black hole.
I tried to revolt,
Hold on to the olive branch,
Before I drown inside the whirlpool
Like quicksand, time wrapped
It’s crooked fingers around me,
And dragged me inside the swamp,
As the blades of guillotine with one descend,
Severed the body -
The skull fell into my lap; ghoulish end.
A catastrophic calamity
Happened so many light years ago,
Like stars collapsing,
I fall into a discerning microcosm.
Then the skull starts to tell,
A tale of quest -
The search of Holy Grail,
Rusty bones turns Grey,
And the treasure turns to dust.
