Paradoxical Pairing

I look this photograph in the Library at Tech. I like the contrast - the light, the darkness, the emptiness and the filled, the books and the reflection. Its like a paradox. Every thesis has an anti-thesis, every moon has an eclipse, every day has a night, every dawn a dusk. For every happy thought there is a sad one. For every exam there is a holiday. For every light there is a shadow. So on and so forth.
